League 3 Semi-Final V`s Setanta 13/12/2009 at 1.00p.m.

This match was played on Ballymun Kickham`s all weather pitch on a dry, cold afternoon. Our lads got off to a very slow start and were very match rusty. Setanta who had the advantage of playing on this pitch during the week in their final league match were much busier during the first half. This match was lost in the first half with the concession of two goals. The half time score was 0-3 to 2-7 in favour of the opposition.

The full time score was St. Vincent`s 0-7; Setanta 2-10. The second half was a hard fought contest and we contested much better, but it was a case of too little, too late.

As winners of this match Setanta will play in League 2 next year and will also qualify to play Naomh Barrog in the final of the league. Thanks to the mentors Shambo, Frank and John for their commitment and also thanks to the lads for a great year they gave us all.
