Hurling League 1 V`s Kilmacud Crokes 16/7/10 at 7.30pm

The match was played in Silverpark on a dry but breezy evening. Playing into the breeze in the first half we got an excellent start with Thomas McGrane scoring a goal in the first 20 seconds. Damien Russell, who became a dad for the second time early this week, had an excellent first half scoring 3 points. The half time score was 0-8 to 1-4 in favour of Kilmacud.

Some very sloppy play and a decrease in performance from many of the players resulted in Kilmacud getting the better of the half. The final score was 0-17 to 1-10 in favour of Kilmacud.
