U7s v Drumlane GAA Club - 3 July 2010

Milltown, Cavan

We were delighted to be invited to bring along our Under 7 footballers for some games against the Under 7s of Drumlane GAA Club in Co. Cavan. The invite came from Tom O Brien who played for St. Vincents for many years and then moved to Milltown in Cavan two years ago.

31 players travelled to Cavan on Saturday and each player played 3 x 9-a-side games that were both entertaining and competitive.

Our hosts could not have done any more to make us welcome and they provided a lovely lunch after the games for both the children and all the parents and helpers.

A great day was had by all, and our thanks to everyone involved. Hopefully we have started a link with Drumlane GAA Club that will last for many years!
