League 3 Match V`s Whitehall C/Cilles 18/11/2009

This match was played on PNU1 at 7.15 pm. The night was wet and windy. Playing with the strong wind Whitehall played well and would have been much further ahead but for our excellent defence. The half time score was 0-6 to 0-3 in favour of the opposition. Whitehall began the second half well and went six points up during the half. An excellently taken goal by Sean Lillis and a fortuitous goal by Conor Casserly in the last ten minutes ensured the win. The full time score was St. Vincent`s 2-9; Whitehall C/C 0-10. It was a hard fought contest with some very good hurling on both sides. The next league is set to by played next Sunday against Trinity Gaels. Shambo and John Kiernan were very happy with their charges.
